It is helpful if you can provide us with as much information as possible about your accident and your circumstances following it. When you come to see us, try to bring with you:
A detailed account of the accident. This should include a description of your injuries, the location, the date, the names of any people involved and, if you have them, the names of any witnesses. Photographs of the location are also useful.
Records of any expenses / loss in income following your accident; for example, receipts and payslips.
Additional information such as a record of visits to your GP or a diary of the pain you have suffered since the accident.
